The Durham Community Foundation (DCF), established in 1994 in Durham Region, Canada, sought a website update to improve accessibility, navigation, and highlight key initiatives like the Vital Signs report and donation options while maintaining brand guidelines.

As a Junior UX/UI Designer, my role involved researching the website’s accessibility, ensuring the DCF brand colours met WCAG 2.0 standards, and updating the colour palette for better compliance. I also created three website mockups, with the team selecting one as the final design. From there, I developed mobile and tablet versions and established a design system for consistency across all devices.
